Baby Sitter Service at USJ 9

Hi All Mums

My mum is an experienced Babysitter of 15 years in the early 50s. Currently she is looking for anyone interested to send their baby for day care as the current batch has grown up. We are staying around USJ 9, Subang Jaya.

We are of Chinese up-bringing, speaks Mandarin and Cantonese at home. She accepts from new born to primary school kids.

If you are interested, please call Madam Chan at 012 285 3306

If you know any friends who needs baby sitter service, your recommendation/referral are highly appreciated.

Thank you

Woot ! I just stumbled upon this deal, which i could not help but to share with all the mothers. Hope it helps.

Each BabyKicks organic cloth diapers is only RM 60, instead of RM 144. That is almost half the price. Now, how cool is that.?

Have a look at this. http://www.groupego.com.my/team.php?id=361#page=page-1

Sad, the deal finishes very soon. hope you dont miss it.

Cheers !

Training Pants

Hi,
I'm interesting to start toilet training my 16mths old daughter. I read an article saying that its recommended to toilet train your child when they turn 18mths. I have heard of training pants and some ranges from RM20+ to RM50+, excluding inserts. Any recommendations/suggestions on this area? I'm from Penang.

Nose digging habit

Hi! Mothers

I need some input urgently. My son is turning 5 this year lately developed a bad habit aka Nose Digging. He finds it so facinating after digging and licking that. It was totally GROSS!Gosh!....i almost puke when i saw him licking his fingers. So i warned him to stop before his little sis imitates what he does as usual.

I asked him why he said it's fun....and it tasted good. Huh?? So i told him stop immediate and he did. Realised yesterday evening, at bed time he was hiding under his blanket with his rangers and up digging his nose. Gosh!...this really drove me nuts! I screamed....YUCK! Stop digging. Can anyone come out with good suggestions to stop before it's too late?

Suggestion on kindergarten in Damansara?

Merry Xmas everyone! Hubby and I are now looking at kindies in Damansara Heights for our 5 year old. We received a long list of available kindies there and figure that there is no way we could check out all of them. We therefore would appreciate recommendations from other parents here. Basically, the kindy must be:

1. English medium - proper English (principal and teachers must speak proper English, and not Malaysian or Singapore English. I am a Malaysian, and am really not keen on my son speaking English with poor grammar structure. I also notice that some teachers at kindies rarely say please and thank you when they talk , so I dont imagine they would emphasize the same on the kids)

Which method of Pre-School

Just wanted to ask some experienced Mommies out there.. which method of Pre-School do they send their kids to? And why?

My son is turning 4 in a few months time. I do plan to enrol him to pre-school next year. But am so amazed with the no of methods offered out there. There are Smart Readers, Montessori, etc etc. Which one to choose? How to choose? Pls share :) Thank you!

Educational vcds

i would like to ask for some views from mommies outside there pertaining to educational vcds. my boy, who is now 15 months old really loves watching vcds ie Baby Einstein series, as i have exposed him to those vcds when he was 10 months old. i tried some other titles like barney, teletubiies etc, but he only focuses when he watches Baby Einstein vcds. from my own view and observation, those vcds has been a means of teaching him in a fun way, most of the times i do accompany him to watch the vcds. i know i can't be too obessed with it, may be i should introduce flash card at this stage. but other than vcds, he also loves colourful books with bright pictures, especially animal pictures.
