WARNING: Don't Post if you have nothing to say

Thanks for supporting Malaysiamums.com and welcome aboard.
We wish you enjoy your surf here

Recently we have found much UN-NEEDED lame postings.
Don't be annoyed. Malaysiamums.com is not being unfriendly but is trying to make the forums more useful to the public who needs their questions answered and etc.

as noticed, some topics are unnecessarily laughed at, critisized at, commented at, diverted from and so on.

To be a useful and resourceful forum, all posts and topics need to be realistic and useful.

I hope everyone understands what i'm trying to stress here..

To critics and lamers
Yes, It is a free world,

Yes, Malaysiamums.com is a free forum
You don't own Malaysiamums, Auntie Anna do,
Malaysiamums.com doesn't owe you anything, you don't pay to it
So please make Malaysiamums.com a better place. for everyone

As mentioned,
please do not post if you:
-have nothing useful to add to the topic
-don't know what you're saying
-just want to post smileys
-are childish
-don't know what's the answer
-trying to be funny
-are not interested in what the topic is trying to sell
-are asking silly questions
-are diverting from the topic
-are trying to be funny posting the whole thing in another language other than English
-are trying to be unfriendly

the list goes on and on.

basically what this Warning actually mean is:
Please don't be LAME.

lame posts will be deleted and lamers will be banned.

Thanks Erin for helping to articulate our goals and concerns.

Malaysiamums is a free forum (and actually, much more, as we have articles, photo contests etc) for all Malaysian mothers.

As we are "free", it means that everyone has the opportunity to participate, contributing their ideas and views. Our goal is to help mothers become better mothers, - to learn from each other.

Therefore, everyone has the right to post their views - as long as their views concern issues that are useful to everyone else (eg. where to find better educational materials for your kid, or what you should do to improve you kid's health etc).

However, we cannot tolerate postings intended to negatively criticise other members. We certainly will not allow Malaysiamums to become a platform for anyone to "quarrel" online. If you have any personal issues with another member, please take it offline. Any posts of this nature will be deleted, and offenders will unfortunately, have their accounts banned. This is for the benefit of our thousands of other members who aren't interested in such negative comments.

Thank you all for understanding. And thank you Erin, for helping to highlight the importance of keeping our forums clean, friendly and useful for everyone.

I'd like to remind everyone that Malaysiamums is a forum that's "owned" by ALL Malaysian mothers. Not just Auntie Anna. I am indeed the administrator, but this is a public forum for all to enjoy. Let's continue to make this a meaningful, fun and happy place for everyone!
