Is your kid in the Top 10 list? 2007 Q1 contest results Motherhood Forums Photo Contest

Do you agree that ppl should stop asking for votes??

Hi.. i am new to MalaysiaMums. i find things that are really interesting here but there are some things i just find it quite weird.

i posted my girl photo in photo contests. many votes for her and the same time i was asked to vote for them back in other category even the same category. of course i don't mind cos they voted for my daughter, i spared one vote for them in order to thanks them and their baby are really cute too!
but somehow i think this gonna have a huge affects to the results. and i think it's a little bit unfair for those who doesn't ask for the votes.
sometimes, some ppl may not think your children's pics that cute. i mean it.
i am not mad.. i just think this quite unfair.
i started to vote for one baby in cutest baby contest and asked her to vote for my girl back. after that, i was confused and thought, it was such a silly things to do. just because i wanted to catch more votes and did like others did. it's quite tiring to be honest.. lol.

well, so i decided to vote for those who vote me but i won't ask for anyone's vote. it's gonna be very unfair to others.
well, this is my principle. ;-)
my girl may not win but it's fine for me..
as long as i am happy to be able to share with all of great and cute photos of your little ones..

God bless...

yes, i am strongly agreed with you. i let my girl participate for last month cutest toddler. At first, i feel so funny when some of mothers start to ask for voting. i also feel so tiring. I noticed even some voting not honestly, i also feel so funny. i felt so weird to vote and praise someone who i feel not so cute.

After the contest, i told myself i wont let jj to participate any of such voting contest. Because i feel that is really unfair game for us.

I believe the numbers of votes you get does not necessary determine whether you win or not.

At least that's how the contests in SGMom works. I believe it will be the same here.

If anyone is found cheating, they will be striked off even they are declared the winner. So dont be too happy when you win thru cheating. Hahaha! Not only you know you cheat .... the webmaster know too! If you cheated .... too late liao ... Hahaha!

This is a simple contest to show off your kids and the share with other mommies what sweet & cute kids you have ... if you really want to win big time ... join country wide contest. Prize $ more attractive lah.

Ask for votes - ok. Not cheating. Let it be fun & fair contest.

Good luck to all contestants!

Elaine,

I could not have said it better! You're spot on.

There's absolutely no point cheating at all, as we will simply disqualify or disregard the cheater's votes. And for all other mums, don't worry, go about your own business and let us do our job monitoring/enforcing Malaysiamum's rules & regulations.

Thanks again Elaine!

Hi..this is my first time here..i found this website when i received a few emails asking me to vote for their baby..well..
i've never been to this website and 'spamming my company email'..urrgghhh...i felt so angry...
i've read that 'send email to friends to vote for ur baby' is one of the contest's step..no wonder...
BUT...i never register in this website until now only...then only baru i understand why they're asking for votes...
BUT my dear contestants....make sure before submitting the emails you are aware whether the receiver is a registered member or not...
Anyway...salam perkenalan.. :)
